From order to handover

Give service, kitchen and bar a shared view of orders

An order works well when every station knows what it needs to do. Bonzumo connects order taking with kitchen and bar preparation. Visible progress and separate course releases help your team coordinate the pace of service.

Let us review the workflow together.

A demo is most useful when we take your current process as the starting point.

Service takes a table's order, the bar starts the drinks and the kitchen prepares the food. Everyone contributes to the same guest experience, but each station needs a different part of the information. Bonzumo supports this division with configured preparation stations, kitchen displays and printing routes. The order becomes a shared reference for the people involved in getting it to the guest.

The kitchen display lets staff follow open and processed orders in their station's context. They can see the work ahead and the status of an order. This is particularly useful when several tables order close together. Instead of reconstructing the picture from separate slips and conversations, the team has a visible preparation view. Stations are configured around the way your kitchen actually divides the work.

Timing matters for set menus. A starter, main course and dessert may be sold as one menu, but they should not all need preparation at the same moment. Bonzumo allows courses to be released separately. Service can respond to the pace of the table while the kitchen focuses on the next required course. This supports coordination when different tables move through their meals at different speeds.

The bar has its own working rhythm too. Preparation points and printing rules can be configured around the operation. You can reflect which station makes particular drinks or products. For a business with several areas, the actual working route matters: where is an order taken, where is it prepared and where does service collect it? Those details provide a useful basis for setting up the workflow.

Alongside table and counter orders, configured QR ordering and kiosk routines can provide additional ordering routes. For your staff, the practical requirement is that each order remains understandable in production. Visible status also supports coordination around collection and service. The appropriate ordering routes and devices are considered for your specific concept.

Bring a busy table, a menu with several courses and your kitchen or bar layout to the demo. These familiar examples show how Bonzumo distributes work, makes preparation progress visible and helps your team coordinate between the dining room and the pass.
